Installing A Wireless Wall Switch To Pair With Our Shades
What do I need to know to install a wireless wall switch for a roller shade?
Regardless of the type of motor you’ve specified for your roller shades (plug n’ play or battery operated), the same type of wall switch will be used. When installing a wireless wall switch, we need a wall cut out before our installation crew can come in.
We have created the illustrations below to show you what you’ll need for the property to be ready. We’ve also put this information in a handy card you can download and give to your GC or Construction Manager!
Remember, the rules are a bit different when we talk about Motorized Drapes. For information on drapes, check out the resource called, “Drapery: Installing a Wireless Wall Switch”.
